25,000 pieces of form.bar furniture have already saved as much CO2 as it would take to drive around the Earth 200 times! According to a study by the University of Darmstadt on life cycle assessment in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14040/44, form.bar outperforms standard furniture in all 17 impact categories of life cycle assessment. Because our furniture doesn’t have to travel halfway around the world. Because we manufacture regionally. And because each piece is only made when it’s actually needed.
Over its entire lifespan, a from.bar shelf saves as much CO2 as, for example, the annual electricity consumption of a two-person household. Your furniture purchase becomes an active contribution to climate protection. Each piece of furniture is crafted by a local carpenter. Less transportation, more local: Your furniture doesn’t come from overseas—it comes from your region!
